Painting & Calligraphy Activation with Holt Renfrew

I grew up going to art school for 18 years and painting was always my favourite activity. Then life got the best of me and I never picked up a paintbrush again while going through undergraduate and 4 years of pharmacy school. Fast forward today, I saw bottle painting pick up on social media and immediately gravitated towards it. When I picked up a paint brush again, it just all naturally came back to me. It really was like riding a bike - you never forget!

Within a week of painting again, I was invited to Holt Renfrew Square One for their Valentine’s Day event to provide complimentary calligraphy and painting services to clients making purchases. I customized a variety of gift tags, jewellery & handbag/wallet boxes, fragrance bottles and more. The customers were so ecstatic about the final customized products - many onlookers even made purchases just to get their products painted! It was so rewarding to paint again, and especially with such great feedback from customers. I mean, it’s a great feeling to be told “I want mine done with the exact same way!”.
